From John 6 – after the miraculous feeding of the 5000:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.\u201d (51)<\/p>\n

\u201cI tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For My flesh is real food and My blood is real drink. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in them. Just like the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me.\u201d (53-58)<\/p>\n

\u201cDo not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.\u201d (27)<\/p>\n

\u201cFor My Father\u2019s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.\u201d (40)<\/p>\n

From John 4 – the Samaritan woman:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Samaritan woman said to Him, \u2018You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman, how can You ask me for a drink?\u2019 Jesus answered her, \u2018If you knew the Gift of God and Who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water.\u2019 The woman said, \u2018Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?\u2019\u201d (9-11)<\/p>\n

\u201cJesus answered, \u2018Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.\u2019\u201d (13-14)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe woman said, \u2018I know that Messiah is coming. When He comes, He will explain everything to us.\u2019 Then Jesus declared, \u2018I, the One speaking to you \u2013 I am He.\u2019\u201d (25-26)<\/p>\n

\u201cJust then His disciples returned and were surprised to see Him talking with a woman.\u201d (27)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe disciples urged Him, \u2018Rabbi, eat something.\u2019 But He said to them, \u2018I have food to eat that you know nothing about.\u2019 Then the disciples said to each other, \u2018Could someone have brought Him food?\u2019 \u2018My food,\u2019 said Jesus, \u2018is to do the will of the Father who sent Me and to finish His work.\u2019\u201d (31-34)<\/p>\n

From John 17 \u2013 the prayer of Jesus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFather, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You. For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have brought You glory on earth by finishing the work You gave me to do.\u201d (1-4)<\/p>\n

A few conclusions:<\/strong><\/p>\n
