On my 41st birthday in 2000  I learned I had multiple myeloma, a blood cancer with no medical cure. I  had a stem cell transplant in 2001 and someone suggested I write the  lessons God taught in the valley.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s led me out of the valley up  beautiful hills and down into different valleys and through winding  paths and on straight roads in eighteen different countries. In other  words&#8230; I&#8217;m still learning. These are thoughts and experiences of a  Christian depending on Jesus to finish the race.
